At the most recent midwife appt they told me that they're pretty sure baby is head down and sitting low. The low part isn't much of a surprise though. I've really been feeling the weight down below and my muscles and ligaments are very achy. Keeping up with Moira is quite the workout for me.
I got to meet a third midwife, as another back up, and this coming Monday is our home visit from our primary midwife. I have appts every Tuesday morning thereafter until baby is born. They also gave me my charts to carry with me, should I need to go to the hospital at any time.
My nausea isn't too bad, though when I do have it hit it's not good. I do get woozy sometimes, from the low blood pressure, but it's been better since I really started to be more careful (especially in the mornings). I am still fervently hoping not to get the pregnancy rash again.
Most things have been readied. We do still need to pack the hospital bag and a little bag for Moira, just in case things go unexpectedly and we need to drop her off with friends on short notice. Moira refers to the baby a lot now, listening for baby and saying hi to baby. She's also very keen on seeing the baby in the Cookie Monster onsie we bought on her insistence.
I'm rereading all my labour info and VBAC stuff. Darcy is doing the same. It's all uncharted territory since I never laboured with Moira. Here's hoping everything goes well.
